Pineapple Teriyaki Meatballs

  • 1 pound ground meat (beef, chicken, or turkey)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup pineapple chunks
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ginger powder
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, egg, pineapple chunks, green onions, garlic powder, ginger powder, and sesame oil.
  3. Mix until well combined and form into meatballs.
  4. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until cooked through.
  5. In a saucepan, heat teriyaki sauce over medium heat until warm.
  6. Once the meatballs are cooked, toss them in the warm teriyaki sauce until coated.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra sauce, double the teriyaki sauce measurement.
  • These meatballs freeze well for up to three months.
