- 8 ounces whole wheat pasta
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 4 ounces chicken ham
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Cook the whole wheat pasta according to package instructions.
- In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and chop.
- In the same skillet, add olive oil and sauté garlic and broccoli until tender.
- Stir in chicken ham, turkey bacon, and cooked pasta. Season with red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper.
- Serve topped with grated Parmesan cheese.
Notes
- For added flavor, consider tossing in some lemon zest.
- This dish can easily be made vegetarian by omitting the bacon and ham.
