Creamy Spinach Mushroom Lasagna Recipe You Must Try

  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 3 cups fresh spinach
  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and mushrooms, sauté until mushrooms are soft.
  4. Add spinach and Italian seasoning, cook until spinach is wilted.
  5. In a baking dish, layer marinara sauce, then noodles, ricotta cheese, spinach and mushroom mixture, mozzarella cheese, and repeat layers.
  6. Top with remaining mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then remove foil and bake an additional 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing.

  • For added flavor, consider adding cooked ground beef or sausage to the layers.
  • Ensure the noodles are fully cooked for easier assembly.
