  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup sugar (for rolling)
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon (for rolling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the apple butter, softened butter, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. In a small bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon for rolling.
  7. Roll the dough into balls, then roll in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  8. Place the dough balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and flatten slightly.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden.
  10. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
